A Symbol of Freedom: The United States PolyExtra Flag
The United States flag is a powerful symbol of freedom, liberty, and hope worldwide, representing the 50 great states of America and the 13 original colonies. Our PolyExtra fabric is meticulously crafted from two-ply polyester fabric that is specially loomed and dyed to withstand the most demanding weather conditions, counteract the effects of ultra-violet light, and remain crisp and bright.
Durable Construction for Long-Lasting Performance
We embroider our star fields in-house and then carefully assemble each flag for maximum wind resistance with double-stitched unidirectional chain stitching on every seam and a full ¼” turn on all seams to produce the longest lasting flag on the market. For flags 12X18′ and larger that are placed on taller poles, we finish our fly hems with 6 rows of stitching and a double X-box on each seam for maximum reinforcement.
Heavy-Duty Materials for Added Strength
We use color matched T60 thread which can withstand up to 60 lbs. of force and is the strongest thread used by any major manufacturer on the market. Our 12 X 18′ Flags feature a super strong, pure white, no shrink, heavy-duty, 9 oz. poly sateen heading with a brass center grommet and 2 heavy duty chrome D-Rings.
As a symbol of American pride and patriotism, this flag is perfect for residential or commercial display. With its durable construction and long-lasting performance, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to show their love for the United States.
A Brief History of the American Flag
Did you know that the first American flag was created in 1777 by Betsy Ross, a seamstress from Philadelphia? The flag has undergone several design changes since then, with the number of stripes and stars being updated to reflect the addition of new states to the Union. Today, the American flag is an iconic symbol of freedom and democracy, recognized around the world as a beacon of hope and liberty.
