A Brief History of the Australian Flag
The Australian flag, also known as the Blue Ensign, has a rich history dating back to 1901. The flag’s design is based on the British Blue Ensign, with the Union Jack in the upper left corner and the Southern Cross constellation depicted in white on a blue background.
